Happy New Year! This is the time of year where we all set new goals and resolutions for ourselves in hopes to grow and become better people, right?
Well I invite you to join me in completing Do42.
Do42 is a spiritual reset program. It is completely FREE and you can win $4,200. Yes, I said $4,200. Do42 consist of diet, exercise, daily prayer and reading, along with commitments to help you battle the seven deadly sins.
I initially heard about 42 from my old neighbors in Atlanta, as their church (Ark of Salvation) sponsors the program annually. The first time I completed Do42 was 2015 and again in August of 2017, it completely changed my life. As a result of Do42, I lost 25 lbs (both times) and now I have a committed daily appointment with God at 5:30am. It also helped me spiritually in 2015 when I suffered a great loss, the death of my spiritual mentor. It was through this fasting program Do42 that I was able to maintain my sanity when the world around me seemed to be chaotic.
If you already completed it, why would you do it again?
I believe that regular fasting helps you to gain clarity and draw closer to God. When ever I feel out of balance I fast and pray. As a result, I get emotionally light, I have joy, and I hear God more clearly. I am also completing Do42 again this year to lose a few more pounds (Thanksgiving and Christmas attacked me) and I want to surrender my words to Christ. One of the requirements of the program is you cannot complain or speak negatively. I can’t wait to see my attitude shift as a result.
Will you Join Me in Do42?
I started Do42 on Monday and I will share my experience each week with you all here on the blog. You can join the contest and enter to win $4,200 here. Please note: You do not have to officially enter the contest to complete the program. Rather you do it for you or to compete it will change you.
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. ~1 Corinthians 6:19-20
