Graphic of Scripture John 8:38 You will be free indeed

The word repentance has been on my heart lately. So I want to remind whoever is in need, there is redemption and freedom in Christ. Freedom from guilt and shame. Those are emotions the devil wants us to feel to keep us bound to the pain of our past and decisions we have made. But, Jesus came not to condemn us but to provide salvation. So we must confess our sins to the Lord with a sincere heart. For the bible says,

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Nothing you’ve done is too big to be cover by the blood of Jesus. He loves you and wants you to be free in Him. The Word also tells us “who the Son sets free is free indeed” John 8:38.

Go! Confess to God the very thing that has been overwhelming you. Allow God to redeem you with the blood that Jesus shed on the cross. If you have sinned against someone ask for their forgiveness as well, keeping in mind no matter their response God has forgiven you.

Live in the promises of God and not the shadows of the enemy.

What to establish a personal connection with Christ, read this post.

Have a great day in Christ.
